Handmade Moroccan Leather Floor Seating

Handmade Moroccan leather floor seating is defined by construction details that are visible at close range: stitched leather sections, embroidered center motifs, shaped borders and small variations created during hand assembly.

Leather panels and hand stitching

Many traditional round forms are assembled from multiple leather panels rather than one continuous surface. Contrasting thread highlights the structure and often becomes part of the decoration.

Embroidery as a design language

Starbursts, floral motifs, geometric petals and repeated border patterns are common visual ideas. They can be subtle on natural leather or highly visible when cream thread is used over red, black or blue leather.

Why handmade pieces vary

Leather is a natural material and artisans work by hand. Small differences in color, texture, stitch spacing and pattern placement are normal. For buyers who value handmade interiors, those differences are part of the piece rather than a defect.

For residential and trade projects

Handmade low seating can work in private homes, boutique hotels, riads, restaurants, lounges and retail interiors. For larger quantities, coordinated colors or project specifications, use our Custom Orders page.

From Father to Son: Master Yassine & Sidi Abdellah

Master Yassine grew up around leather craft from childhood. He began learning beside his father, Sidi Abdellah, watching and then practicing the steps of the trade day after day: choosing leather, cutting and shaping panels, hand stitching, embroidery, pattern work and finishing.

This father-to-son transmission is central to the character of the work. The knowledge comes from years inside the workshop rather than industrial production, and that is why small differences in stitching, leather tone and decorative details are part of the piece.
